You’ve led a full life.  You raised a family and had a career (outside or inside the home). You couldn’t be more proud. But these days the truth is, you’re ready to fall in love with your life again (or maybe for the very first time).

HeadshotWith the reality of an empty nest, caring for aging parents, menopause and a host of other cherry-bombs thrown into the mix you have been left wondering if the best years have passed you by without even realizing it.

You are craving the “maybe one day…” dreams to become today’s reality. But where to begin with a lifetime of “shoulds” really has you feeling stuck.

You are craving the “maybe one day…” dreams to become today’s reality. But where to begin with a lifetime of “shoulds” really has you feeling stuck.

If you are ready to redesign your life to be one of celebration, you are in the right place.

I’m Liz Applegate, Life Coach and Midlife Enthusiast with a passion for helping brave women over 40 reconnect with who they are without all of the “have-to’s”. To create lives that go against society’s negative image of aging.

Looking back, my own life transition began at age 40 as a newly divorced single mom of 3 boys. Soon afterwards, my oldest son graduated high school and went off to college. While this was a happy occasion that filled me with pride, it also led to years of tears, uncertainty, loneliness, worry, sleepless nights, and too many questions…

Who was I now that my children no longer needed me?
Where were my “Maybe one day…” moments?

I was in the middle of an identity shift.

Rejecting the notion that the best years had passed me by, I began my life redesign by starting my own business, leaving the 9-5 and pursuing life coaching certification. I’ve become clear on what truly makes me happy and found love with someone who laughs at my corny jokes. And we drive with the top down (on the convertible, silly!) every chance we get. I’ve traveled to exotic beaches, snorkeled the second largest barrier reef off the coast of Belize and got inked with a meaningful tattoo. I ditched the frumpy with a short haircut and reclaimed the blonde of my youth. I wear big sparkly earrings and even don red lipstick when the moment feels right. Most of all I embrace each day and look forward to the next.

My “one day” moments are now and I celebrate every one of them.

And this is what I want for you. Whatever your dreams are, big and monumental or just to be content when you wake each morning, it’s my passion to help you get there.
